The Olde Poste Cottage -- site of Cascade's old post office in the heart of historic Cascade, at the foot of the Pike's Peak Highway. This Victorian cottage, restored and furnished to reflect its genteel past, will return you to a time when folks came up Ute Pass to vacation away from the heat of the "lowlands." The living room walls display prints and photos of Cascade and Olde Poste Cottage from the Ute Pass Historical Society, as well as chronicling the drama of the American Post from the Revolution, through the exciting Pony Express, to the color and charm of the stamps and postcards found in today's U.S. Post Office. The cottage's bedrooms are lovingly decorated to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
The Ranger Station's spacious kitchen welcomes you back to a real connection with great-grandma, sitting at the table over coffee or tea, chatting and keeping busy helping with dinner chores. The dining table invites the family to eat the old-fashioned way – together, enjoying meals with the honest hunger that fresh mountain air brings on. Food never tasted so good, nor sleep so deep and sweet, as in the embrace of this generous old house. In the livingroom, the 100+ year-old fireplace still works, and from the porch, you can watch deer feed in the front yard.

The Caretaker's Cottage is a perfect couple's get-away. With convenient access to the Pike's Peak Highway and Highway 24 in beautiful Ute Pass, this historic Victorian cottage will be your headquarters for activies in the Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs and the entire Pike's Peak region.
The Caretaker's Cottage is also offered at discount in conjunction with either the Ranger Station or Olde Poste to serve as an additional bathroom and bedroom for larger parties (no persons under 18).
